Social Media Strategy
Pluckers Wing Bar
Social media is my favorite avenue of advertising because of how accessible it is. The ability to build a community and promote your business at your fingertips fascinating. However, what sets certain brands apart in terms of success is their strategic approach. By combining creativity and research, a brand can have a social media strategy that not only significantly boosts sales but also cultivates an unwavering and devoted customer following. This is a school project I did for Pluckers Wing Bar.
HTeaO Media Plan
Advertising Media Planning
During my junior year of college, I took an Advertising Media Planning class, where we had a semester-long project in which we developed a comprehensive media plan for our client HTeaO, a Texas-based beverage company. In our scenario, they were opening a new store in North Carolina and our job was to create a media plan for a successful out-of-state store launch. It was a time-consuming project due to all of the research, writing, and design elements that went into it, but overall, it is one of the projects I am most proud of from my time in college.
Instagram Feeds
Defining Brand Voice
I think having a defined brand voice and look is the key to a successful company. One of the best ways to accomplish that has by having a cohesive Instagram feed. It's a quick and easy way for people to get the gist of your brand. I have created sample feeds for school projects and for fun as well for a variety of companies.
Creating a Personal Brand
Pinterest is a Social Media platform that I think a lot of people underestimate or don't know how to use properly. Pinterest is a search engine and treating it like one can help you create a presence on the site. I have used Pinterest consistently over the past 2 years and in that time I have gained 2.5k followers and on average 750k monthly impressions (but I have reached 2 million at one point). By knowing keywords to use when creating posts, posting a variety of content, and utilizing the Pinterest Business Hub, I have stayed relevant on the platform and created a personal brand of my own.

Writing Pieces
In the summer of 2022, I worked at the New York Post as the Decider.com Social Media Intern. My time there really honed my writing skills in social media copywriting and entertainment journalism. During my free time as an intern, I was able to write and publish articles on the site. I was given lots of creative freedom and the experience really helped me grow more confident as a writer.
Experiential Ad Concept
Brand Storytelling
This was a quick project I created in my Brand Storytelling class. I had to create a concept for an experiential ad, which was fun because I truly think experiences are the future of the advertising industry. I decided to do one for the brand Glossier because it is a brand I love and know a lot about.

Seattle 2021
I am the type of person who loves to haul my camera around. Whether it's a day at the park with friends or a vacation, I love to capture moments on film. This is a video I made of my trip to Seattle and Vancouver back in 2021. I've been to Seattle 4 times and it is one of my favorite places in the world. Being able to capture moments and tell a story is a huge passion of mine and is part of the reason why I love advertising so much.
